Who are we?
In 2010, the Gran Canaria Tourist Board, and businessmen and women from the sector, together with the Federation of Hotel and Tourism Businessmen and women of Las Palmas and the Mogan City Council created the Gran Canaria Blue (GCB) association.
The purpose of this public and private initiative is to work together towards a joint marketing and promotion of Gran Canaria as a nautical destination, under the umbrella of a single organisation representing all associated accommodation establishments and activity companies.
Gran Canaria Blue
The main goal of Gran Canaria Blue, an official brand of the Gran Canaria Tourist Board, is the international promotion and marketing of the island as a nautical destination.
Gran Canaria Blue brings together under the same seal of quality, the widest offer of water activities available on the island, complemented by a varied and wide choice of accommodation linked to the sea, thus becoming the best way of exploring all the possibilities offered on the island to enjoy the sea 365 days a year.
What do we offer?
The Gran Canaria Blue association organises, among others, the following promotion and marketing activities, among others:
Attracting and organising press trips for journalists specialised in travel books and magazines which focus on nautical tourism and the general media from the main source markets.
Attracting and organising fam trips for tour operators and specialised travel agents from the main source markets for nautical tourism.
Attending national and international trade fairs both generic and specialised fairs.
Promotional and marketing activities using digital media (www.grancanariablue.com) and social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Twitter).
