Submarine adventure invites you to take an exhilarating trip to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean aboard an authentic submarine in Mogan: The Golden Shark. An unforgettable experience during which you will be able to enjoy the spectacular diversity and beauty of the sea bottom.

The trip lasts approximately 40 or 45 minutes and starts at a depth of 15 metres, taking you through the artificial reefs of “La Atlántida” and the shipwrecks of two ships that sank several decades ago.

“La Atlántida” (Atlantis) is Gran Canaria’s first artificial reef. It was designed as a seabed regeneration project in a protected area of 3,000 square meters. There, you will be able to see more than 300 elements which were made using pH-neutral concrete with different heights, weights, and shapes and which recreate an ancient civilisation, with the main purpose of attracting and maintaining a healthy marine life environment. Fishing and boat anchoring are not permitted in this area and diving is controlled. Thanks to the electric motors that power our submarine, visiting the artificial reefs is an environmentally friendly activity, which is carried out with the utmost respect for the sea.

The atmospheric conditions inside the Golden Shark are 100% controlled, so you will not notice the change in pressure during our submarine ride. This is why this tour is safe and suitable for everyone. Enjoy this adventure inside a comfortable temperature-controlled cabin with wide portholes (one for every two passengers) which offer excellent visibility of the seabed.

Our submarine has a new audio system thanks to which our clients will be able to learn about “La Atlántida” (Atlantis) artificial reef park, the diversity of species and the shipwrecks that can be seen during this tour in nine languages: Spanish, English, German, Italian, French, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish.
